TXT Mini Lightstick

This pattern was designed based on the TXT lightstick, Moabong, and was made as an accessory for the Ppulbatu plush!

The finished lightstick measures about 6 cm in width and 3.5 cm in diameter.

I had a lot of fun making this mini lightstick and I hope you will enjoy the pattern too.

Materials you will need

- 2 mm hook

- DK yarn in white, grey and teal (I used paintbox simply DK yarns)

- polyester fibrefill (or any suitable stuffing)

- sewing needles

- stitch markers

Abbreviations

MR - magic ring

R(__) - repeat instructions for the round

sc - single crochet

fsc - foundation single crochet

inc - single crochet increase

dec - single crochet decrease

BLO - back loop only

Head

(Using white yarn)

1. 6sc in MR (6)

2. R(inc) (12)

3. R(sc, inc) (18)

4. R(2sc, inc) (24)

5. R(3sc, inc) (30)

6. (BLO) sc around (30)

7. (BLO) R(3sc, dec) (24)

8. R(2sc, dec) (18)

- Start stuffing

9. R(sc, dec) (12)

10. R(dec) (6)

- Fasten off, stuff and close the piece

Lightstick Base

(Using white yarn)

1. 6sc in MR (6)

2. R(sc, inc) (9)

3. (BLO) sc around (9)

4 to 6. sc around (9 x 3)

(Using grey yarn)

7 to 8. sc around (9 x 2)

- Leave a tail and sew to the base of the head to form the lightstick

TXT details

(Using grey yarn)

1. Sew "X" with grey yarn by starting and ending in between rows 4 and 5

(Using teal yarn, make two pieces)

2. 24ch

- Leave a long tail for sewing

- Wrap chain around head and sew to form "+"

Strap

(Using grey yarn)

1. 56fsc

- Leave a long tail for sewing

- Overlap 4 stitches of each ends of the strap and sew together before sewing onto the back of the lightstick
