Reversible Ghost

This pattern was designed to make a 2 in 1 reversible ghost crochet toy!

The finished ghost measures about 8 cm in width (base) and 5.5 cm in height 

The pattern is written to make the basic ghosts in black and white but feel free to change the colours and create your own variations (see below for some of my variations!)

Materials you will need

- 3 mm hook

- DK yarn in white and black (I used paintbox simply DK yarns)

- sewing needles

- stitch markers

Abbreviations

MR - magic ring

R(__) - repeat instructions for the round

sc - single crochet

inc - single crochet increase

dec - single crochet decrease

hdc - half double crochet

dc - double crochet

sl st - slip stitch

Ghost

(Make two pieces, one with each colour)

1. 6sc in MR (6)

2. R(inc) (12)

3. R(sc, inc) (18)

4. R(2sc, inc) (24)

5. R(3sc, inc) (30)

6. R(4sc, inc) (36)

7. R(5sc, inc) (42)

8. R(6sc, inc) (48)

9 to 20. sc around (48 x 12)

(Work the stitches in [ ] in one stitch)

21. R(sc, [hdc, dc], [dc, hdc], sc) (72)

- Fasten off black ghost

- Continuing with white yarn, align the base of both ghost and slip stitch around the base of both pieces

- Sew on eyes and mouth of your choice on both ghost sides
